Prepare your Property for rent
Mountain Heights Property Management provides this checklist to our current and prospective property owners as they prepare to make-ready their property for rent in Utah.
Property Owner Checklist
- Carpets professionally cleaned.
- HVAC system has been serviced in the last 90 days.
- Ensure all light bulbs are working.
- All appliances are in working order.
- Vent covers have been removed and ducts have been cleaned and vacuumed out.
- All holes and dings in walls have been patched and painted.
- All walls have been wiped down and are free of dust and cobwebs.
- All toilets are in working order.
- All drains are properly draining and free of clogs and other obstructions.
- Entire home professionally cleaned, including, but not limited to the following:
- Kitchen cabinets, counters, pantry, floors, fridge, stove/range, microwave, and other appliances.
- All bathroom cabinets, counters, tub, surrounds, showers, and tile.
- All blinds throughout the home are full and functioning and have been wiped down.
- Windows, windowsills, and window tracks cleaned.
- Ceiling fans cleaned and/or dusted.
- All hard surfaces are swept and mopped.
- Any and all debris from the residence has been removed.
