Prosper Property Management in Salt Lake City, Utah, closed their doors on December 23, 2024.

Mountain Heights Property Management property managers have already began discussing or working with several property owners previously contracted with Prosper Property Management to move their services over and begin collecting their 2025 rent payments, addressing tenant concerns, and ongoing property maintenance.

To this end, we have streamlined owner and tenant on-boarding as a priority but will also follow-up with your tenants for comprehensive in-person on-boarding inspections, property management introductions, and tenant portal application setup and instruction.

For property owners who have already transitioned and completed management agreements, rent payments have been coordinated and collected by Mountain Heights Property Management and are, as of January 13, 2025, being processed for owner distribution.

If you were a previous Prosper Property Management property owner and did not receive a close-of-business email or notification, please see below for a complete letter from Prosper Property Management Owner and Property Manager, John Bottema. This letter was also addressed to previous Prosper Property Management tenants and vendors.

Dear Clients, Tenants and Vendors,

I regret to inform you that as of today, December 23, 2024, Prosper Property Management ("PPM") will be terminating all contracts and cease to be the property managers of all properties currently under contract.

A lien has been placed on the assets of the company, which has caused our software provider, Innago, to deactivate all accounts associated with PPM. Without access to Innago we are unable to keep providing property management services. We have tried to secure a resolution, but our efforts with Innago were unsuccessful.

You will receive one email per property. This email will include contact information for the owner, tenant(s) and a PDF of the current rental agreement.

If you are a property owner, please contact the tenants immediately to provide them with information on how to pay January and all future rents, as well as who to contact for maintenance.

If you are a tenant, please do not make any rent payments or maintenance requests through Innago and wait for further instruction from the property owner. If you are set up on autopay, please contact your bank as soon as possible and have them stop payments to Innago.

If you are a vendor, please submit any outstanding invoices to elaine@prospermgmt.net as soon as possible.
