Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit
You'll need to pay your first month's rent and your security deposit at the lease signing.

Move-in Date & Inspection
Our team will schedule your move-in date and initial inspection when you sign your lease.

Utilities
You'll need to place all utility accounts for your rental in your name immediately following the lease signing. Be sure to handle this promptly to avoid losing access to your utility accounts. Remember, you are responsible for keeping these accounts current throughout the duration of your tenancy.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate
Planning to move out of your home? You'll need to provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate, in accordance with the terms of your lease.

Property Condition
Before returning the keys for your property, you'll need to bring it back to rent-ready condition. This involves the following:

Rental Cleaning: Begin by decluttering and removing personal items. Dust and wipe all surfaces, including baseboards, light fixtures, and countertops. Pay special attention to high-traffic areas and spots that may have been overlooked during your tenancy.

Next, clean appliances inside and out, defrosting the freezer if necessary, and ensure that the oven and stove are grease-free. Scrub bathroom fixtures, tiles, and grout, while replacing worn-out shower curtains or liners.

Vacuum and mop all floors, addressing any stains or marks. Don't forget to clean windows, inside and out, for a polished finish.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you typically address landscaping chores like mowing the lawn, weeding flowerbeds, etc., you'll need to take care of these tasks one final time before moving out of your rental. Make sure everything is clean and neat outside your home.

Repairs: Please address any damage that occurred during your stay. This may include filling holes or repainting scuffed walls, replacing broken glass, and changing out burnt lightbulbs.

Security Deposit
After you move out of your rental home, we will perform a final inspection to check for damage in the property. If we identify any issues, we will schedule repairs and use your deposit to cover any associated costs.

Please note, your deposit cannot be used to cover your final rent payment. Failure to pay your rent on time may result in adverse credit reporting, legal action, and additional fees.
